The Authority Party is currently the second-most minimal grossing major political party in the Arcan Federation, just above the CCUP. The party's ideologies are largely based upon the thoughts and political opinions of famed philosopher/political activist Harvey Lantz (2033 - 2092), and its membership base largely consists of former members of the Neo-Lantz Party.
Lantz believed that executive power should reside in the hands of a single authoritarian figure, such as a King, High Leader, or Czar, whether power is passed along through oligarchical selection, hereditary descent, or democratic process was of no matter to Lantz, remarking that so long as the power rested in the hands of that leader for the rest of their life was the important aspect. He also believed that the amount of work a person puts into the system we know as society should be the deciding factor of whether or not that person receives the essentials of life and certain limited social and economic freedoms, because according to Lantz's vision for the Arcan Federation and the universe as a whole, the executive figure would be in command of all aspects of life, including the economy and the social lives of the citizenry. The party, in accordance with Lantz's philosophies, sees military force as the only way to spread the message of Lantzism, and thus focuses heavily on militarism. The military's top objective would be billed as the spread and implementation of Lantzism throughout the Universe.
